Carla Wennberg is a highly respected figure in the equestrian world, with nearly four decades of experience as an esteemed judge and collegiate coach. She has served as an AQHA Judge for 39 years, an NSBA Judge for 36 years, and an NRHA Judge for 28 years, bringing exceptional expertise and integrity to the show pen across multiple disciplines.

In 2008, Carla was honored as AQHA’s Professional Horseman of the Year, a testament to her lifelong dedication to the horse industry and her outstanding leadership and mentorship.

Beyond the arena, Carla has played a pivotal role in collegiate equestrian coaching for over 30 years, helping shape the next generation of horsemen and horsewomen. Her coaching journey has included successful programs at the University of Georgia, Colorado State University, and St. Andrews University, where her passion for teaching and horsemanship continues to inspire students nationwide.
